Parambulator

Parambulator helps BIM teams apply, edit, review, repair, and export Revit parameter schema packs with controlled bindings, Parambulance diagnostics, and optional IFC/IDS output.

Command reference

Parambulator commands can open the full interface or run shared parameter workflows, including no-modification preflight, from ribbon buttons, keyboard shortcuts, add-in launchers, and automation.

Apply target options

Set these Revit journal data options when launching apply or preflight commands from automation.

  • Parambulator.Target=current-projectapplies to the active project. This is the default.
  • Parambulator.Target=selected-elementsapplies only to the active selection.
  • Parambulator.Target=selected-projectapplies to a Revit project file and requires Parambulator.TargetPath=<path-to-rvt>.
  • Parambulator.Target=selected-familyapplies to a Revit family file and requires Parambulator.TargetPath=<path-to-rfa>.
  • Parambulator.Target=export-ifcis the headless export-only path for Revit IFC property set mapping and IDS XML files. In the interactive UI, IFC/IDS export is an optional checkbox that can run alongside Add, Update, Remove, Update value, or No-Op.
  • Aliasessuch as current, selection, project-file, family-file, and ifc are accepted.

Open Parambulator

Opens the full Parambulator UI for manual schema selection, session parameter edits, review, Add, Update, Remove, Update value, No-Op, diagnostics, and optional IFC/IDS export.

Export IFC Schema

s205.tw.ExportIfcSchema

Exports selected schema definitions as Revit IFC property set mapping TXT and IDS requirement XML files without changing model parameter bindings.

Apply Eptura Parameters

s205.tw.ApplyEpturaParameters

Runs a no-UI add operation for the Eptura schema pack and applies changes as one Revit undo item.

Apply Core Parameters

s205.tw.ApplyCoreParameters

Runs a no-UI add operation for the Core Parameters schema pack and applies changes as one Revit undo item.

Apply All Parameters

s205.tw.ApplyAllParameters

Runs a no-UI add operation for every available parameter schema pack and logs the result to the Revit journal.

Preflight All Parameters

s205.tw.PreflightAllParameters

Runs schema and selected apply-target checks for every available local schema pack without modifying Revit parameters, then logs a readiness report.

Apply Remote Parameters

s205.tw.ApplyRemoteParameters

Fetches the remote schema feed for this run only, then applies fetched packs when the workflow is licensed for them.

Preflight Remote Parameters

s205.tw.PreflightRemoteParameters

Fetches the remote schema feed for this run only and runs the same no-modification readiness report without refreshing the local schema cache.

Refresh Remote Parameters

s205.tw.RefreshRemoteParameters

Refreshes the remote schema feed into the local schema cache and logs added, updated, removed, unchanged, and failure details.
